how it works
Pump.fun has become today’s Fortnite. Overcrowded. Overcomplicated. Overdone.
When it first launched, we didn’t call it the trenches. It was euphoria.
Every day, another 1000x PNL on the timeline. Now we’re fighting for a 2x.
It’s time to bring back simpler times.
Introducing OGpad. The original Pumpfun experience, with a few improvements:
- Anti-vamp system: the original name and ticker keeps the OG badge, copies are hidden and sent back to the original
- Every address ends in og, and the dev buy rides in the launch transaction
- King of the Hill is back
The original era gave us multiple billion-dollar coins. Simple launches. Big communities. Something to believe in.
That’s the thesis for OGpad.
[the steps]
- 1Sign in with your wallet
No email, no password. Your wallet signs a one-time, expiring challenge that only proves you own the address. Your profile keeps a username, bio, avatar, live SOL balance and every coin you launched.
- 2Start a new coin
Name, ticker, description and an image you upload yourself. Optionally pair the coin with a stock symbol so the page shows the pair alongside it.
- 3Every address ends in og
The mint is ground until it ends in the OGpad ending before anything is submitted, and the server re-checks it. Solana addresses are written in an alphabet with no capital O, so it shows as lowercase og.
- 4Your dev buy lands in the launch transaction
The dev buy is bundled into the same transaction as the creation, so nobody — bundlers, bots or snipers — can get a position before the creator does.
- 5Launches and trades are real
Coins are created on pump.fun and every trade is signed by your own wallet. A coin only appears in the feed once the transaction is confirmed on mainnet, so the feed shows live coins, not previews.
- 6Buys and sells bump
Every confirmed buy or sell bumps a coin to the top of the feed, the same shake-and-flash you remember. Trades made for the same coin anywhere else are indexed too and share the bump.
- 7Charts and chat on every coin
Each coin page carries a live price chart, a thread for replies and a full trade list with venue, size and a link to the transaction.
- 8King of the Hill is back
The coin with the largest market cap sits at the top of the home page, where it belongs.
- 9The anti-vamp system
The first coin to use a name or ticker is the original and wears the OG badge. Lookalikes — near-miss spellings, leetspeak, trailing digits — are marked VAMP, kept out of the feed unless you ask to see copies, and shown a warning that points visitors back to the original. Browse them in the OG and Vamp sections.
[fees, in plain words]
pump.fun sets and collects its own launch and trading fees on every coin — those are fixed by pump.fun and cannot be changed from OGpad.
On trades made through OGpad we add a disclosed 0.1% fee, taken from the quoted trade size and sent to the OGpad treasury (CNrJ…MfgK) inside the same wallet-signed transaction. Trades you place elsewhere are not charged by us — they are only indexed.
Coin creators can share their coin’s creator fees 50% to the OGpad treasury and 50% to their own wallet. The split is set once, verified against the signed transaction and the on-chain configuration, and cannot be changed afterwards. Creator rewards routed to holders instead are still being built and cannot be chosen yet.
